longer guaranteed.
Recommendation of service life under optimal storage conditions:
• never used: Max. ten years
• low used (1 - 2 x year): up to seven years
• occasionally used (once a month): up to five years
• used regularly (several times a month): up to three years
• Frequently used (every week): up to a year
• intensive use (daily): less than a year
NOTE: The product liability of the manufacturer does not cover
property damage and personal injury, which may occur even with a
proper function and appropriate use of personal protective
equipment against fall. In case of alterations at the equipment as
well as non-observation of these instructions or the valid accident
prevention rules, the extended product liability of the manufacturer
shall be no longer applicable.
Marking and Symbols
Single rope: Ropes marked with this symbol offer sufficient

safety when used as a single strand.
Half rope: Ropes marked with this symbol have to be used

parallel (both strands). Half ropes may be clipped alternately into
belay points to reduce rope friction.
Twin rope: Ropes marked with this symbol have to be used
parallel (both strands). Both strands must be clipped into belay
points.
EN 892: European Standard for climbing ropes. Products marked
with this standard conform to all requirements for dynamic
mountaineering ropes.
: This symbol confirms that the product meets safety
requirements of module D of EU directive 2016/425. The number
following the symbol (e.g. CE 1019) is the number of the notified
