Assembly instructions
SEKURANT
Type A anchor device in accordance with EN 795:2012 and CEN/TS 16415:2013 with general building authority
approval Z-14.9-704 for attaching personal fall protection equipment.

The SEKURANT X20 / X50 prop must not be used as a lifting eye or for attaching loads. Only original parts from

the SEKURANT X20 / X50 system may be used. Assembly may only be carried out by qualified personnel. These
installation instructions and the SKYLOTEC safety instructions must be read and understood.
The contractor must prepare documentation to confirm the correct installation of the anchorage device in
accordance with the general technical approval Z-14.9-704. For this purpose, proper anchoring must be
documented photographically before the roof covering is applied. The photos must be clearly assigned to
the anchor point. The complete documentation must be handed over to the client during the building
inspection. It is part of the building inspection and the subsequent regular inspection by an expert.
ASSEMBLY

1. Position the SEKURANT
the ground and mark all four fixing holes. Set the support
aside.
2. Drill through holes in the steel structure using a suitable drill
bit Ø= 9 mm, observing the edge distances.
3. Protect drill holes with anti-corrosion agent!
4. Attach the SEKURANT
5. Insert M8 screws with fitted washers through the holes from
above.
6. Fit the washers, spring washer and nut from below.
7. Tighten the screws to a torque of 20 Nm. Use a torque
spanner!
8. Connecting the roof layer package in accordance with the
roofing regulations.

9. Install SEKURANT X20 / X50 components in accordance
with the separate installation instructions.
