GENERAL
Refrigeration rooms with a volume exceeding 10m³ and a room temperature of less than 0°C require a visible emer-
gency call system independent of the general mains according to EN 378-1:2016+A1:2020. Use of a trigger point with
latching position requires unlocking on site at the trigger point to confirm the person alarm.
This trigger point meets the provisions of SUVA (Switzerland) (form. no. 1864). Since the emergency call systems are
life-saving facilities, observe careful installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Please also observe provisions such as:
BGR 500 chapter 3.10, BGV D4 and the former UVV VBG 20.
The installation must be performed according to VDE 0100, 0800 or according to the respective national standards by
an electrician and according to the specifications in this instruction.
The device meets the requirements of the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU.
The EMC inspection was performed according to the standard DIN EN 61000-6-3.
INSTALLATION
Assembly site
The emergency center must be placed outside of the rooms to be monitored, in locations that are always occupied
(work rooms, phone switchboard, porter's rooms, etc.).
The installation site should be chosen so that the indicator lights are visible well and that the acoustic and visual
alarm signals can always be perceived by persons.
The emergency buttons for triggering the alarm should be installed in the direct vicinity of the exit and must be
accessible when lying on the door. Every exit must be equipped with an emergency button; the trigger point must be
accessible well at all times.
Assembly
For the electrical connection, the housing lid must be opened with a matching flat-head screwdriver with a slight lever
effect.
