NOTE: you will not obtain anysound if the
monitor control Is set at 1 or 2 unless the
tape recorder has a separate playback head.
Also volume, bass, treble and balance con¬
trols of this unit will have no effect upon
the recording, so you should use the con¬
trols on the tape recorder,
TAPE DUBBING
To record off (dubbing) the tape recorder
connected to MONITOR 1 by the tape
recorder connected to MONITOR 2, turn
the monitor control to 1 '*2. Set to 2 -»• 1 if
the other way around. When dubbing only
the tape recorder that Is recording will be
monitored.
AUX
Turn the function switch to either AUX 1
or AUX 2 depending on which equipment
you wish to play. Adjust volume, balance,
bass and treble controls to suit your per¬
sonal tastes and listening conditions,
MICROPHONE & MIXING
Make sure your microphone is ordinary
dynamic type with high impedance of
around 50 kohms. Plug the microphone into
the MIC jack and pull ON the MIC mixing
level control. You can adjust the sound level
from microphone by turning the level con¬
trol. Play any program from AM.FM,
records or tapes, and mix your voice or
other love sound with such program for
special entertainment through speakers or
headphones.
NOTE: Do not place the microphone close
to speakers or turn the volume up, as
howling may be caused. The microphone
sound will come out from both left and
right speakers.
HUM AND NOISE
In any high fidelity installation, hum may
be caused by the interconnection of a
record player, tuner and amplifier, and
speakers as result of the cables, different
grounds or locations of components. If hum
is experienced with your unit, disconnect
everything but the speakers from the unit. If
the hum persists, reverse the power plug at
the power source. Plug In the record player
and If hum or howling appears, reverse the
record player away from the speakers as
much as possible. Note hum may also be
Induced by defective connecting cables or
by running these cables too close to a strong
AC field.
When your unit picks up noise during the
reception of broadcasts, causes are mostly
due to external objects such as fluorescent
lamps and house appliances using motor or
thermostat, or others that may induce die
noises. Either relocating the unit away from
the noise sources or using an improved
outdoor antenna may readily solve the
problem. In the event you cannot find
causes, consult your dealer or a qualified
electrician.

ANMERKUNG: Man wird keinen Ton
hdren konnen, wenn die Hinterbandkontrolle
auf 1 Oder 2 Stellung steht und das Ton¬
bandgerat keinen getrennten Wiedergabe¬
kopf besitzt, Auch Lautstarke —, Tiefton —,
Hochton — und Balanceregler dieses Cerates
haben keinen EInfluss auf die Aufnahme,
deshalb sollte man die Regler des Tonband-
gerates gebrauchen.
BANDUBERSPIELEN
Beim Oberspielen des Tonbandes, welches
mit MONITOR 1 verbunden ist, zu dem
Tonband, wtelches mit MONITOR 2 ver¬
bunden ist, schaltet man die Hinterband-
kontrolle zu 1 -» 2 Position, Fiir umgekehrte
Weise ist auf Position 2 1 zu schalten.
Beim Oberspielen wird nur das aufnehmende
Tonbandgerat abgehort.
AUX
Orucken Sie den Eingangswahler entweder
auf AUX 1 Oder AUX 2, dem zu gebrau-
chenden Gerat entsprechend. Stellen Sie die
Lautstarke, Balance sowie die Tief — und
Hochtonregler ihrem personllchen Ge-
schmack und Hormoglichkeiten entspre¬
chend ein.
MIKROPHON UND MISCHUNG
Achten Sie darauf, ein gewohniiches,
dynamisches Mikrophon mit hoher Impadanz
von ca. 60 kohm zu besitzen. Man steckt
das Mikrophon in die MIC — Steckdosen
und druckt den MIC-MIschungspegel auf
ON. Der Lautstarkepegel des Mikrophons
lasst sich am UKW — Lautstarkeregler ein-
stellen. Spielen Sie alle Programme von
MW
-I-
KW und UKW. Schallplatten Oder
Tonbandern und mischen Sie Ihre Stimme
Oder Lebensgerausche anderer Art mitsolch
einem Programm fur besonderes Vergnugen
durch Lautsprecher oder Kopfhorer.
ANMERKUNG; Placieren Sie das Mikro¬
phon nicht in der NShe der Lautsprecher
Oder drehen Sie die Lautstarke nicht auf,
weil sonst Pfeifen entstehen kann. Der
Mikrophon-Klang kommt aus beiden, dem
rechten und linken Lautsprecher.
BRUMM UND FREMDSPANNUNG
In jeder HiFi-Anlage kann Brummen durch
Verbindung eines Plattenspielers, UKW-
Empfangers Oder Verstarkers sowie Laut¬
sprecher entstehen, weil die Kabelverbin-
dungen falsch, Oder verschiedene Erdungen
sowie die Aufstellung der Komponenten
die Ursachen sind. Warn bei Ihrem Gerat
Brummen entsteht, trennen Sie es von alien
Geraten, bis auf die Lautsprecher. Falls das
Brummen bleibt, polen Sie den Netzstecker
in der Netzsteckdose urn. Schliessen Sie den

et d'equilibre n'ont pas d'effet sur I'enregis-
trement,sl bien que vous drevriez utiliser les
controles du magnetophone.
DOUBLAGE DE BANDES
Pour enregistrer (doubler) le magnetophone
branchia MONITOR 1 par le magnetophone
branche a MONITOR 2, tourner I'interrup-
teur general a 1 -»'2. Tourner a 2 -»• 1 si c'est
le contraire. Lors du doublage, seulement
le magnetophone qui est enregistre, sera
controie.
AUX
Tourner le commutateur de fonction soit
a AUX 1 ou AUX 2, cela depend de
requipement que vous desirez faire fonc-
tionner. Regler les contrdles de volume,
equilibre, graves et aigOes pour convenir
a VOS gouts personnels et aux conditions
d'ecouta.
MICROPHONE & MtXAGE
S'assurer que votre microphone presente
des caracteres ordinaires avec une haute
impedance d'environ 50 kohms. Brancher
le microphone dans le jack MIC et tirer ON
le controls de niveau de mixage MIC. Vous
pouvez ajuster le niveau du son du micro¬
phone en tournant le contrdle de niveau.
Faire passer AM, FM, des disques ou des
bandes, et meianger votre voix ou les sons
ambiants pour des divertissements sp^ciaux,
sur les enclentes ou les casques.
NOTE: Ne pas placer le microphone pr^s
des enceintes ou ne pas tourner le volume
a fond, car des bourdonnements peuvent
etre causes. Le son du microphone sortira
des enceintes drolte et gauche.
RONFLEMENT ET BRUIT
Dans touies les chaines de haute-fidelite,
le ronflement peut provenir d'une Inter¬
connection du tourne-disques, du tuner et
de I'ampllficateur, des cables ou des prises
de terre. Si le ronflement provient de votre
ensemble, d^brancher toutes ses prises sauf
celles des enceintes. Si le ronflement persiste,
inverser le fil d'alimentatlon a la prise de
courant. Brancher ensuite le tourne-disques,
et si un ronflement apparait, inverser le
branchement ^lectrique du tourne-disques
et replacer le tourne-disques aussi loin que
possible des enceintes,
NOTE: Les ronflements peuvent Stre induits
par une connection d^fectueuse des cables
ou par des cibles places trop pres d'un
champ ^lectrlque.
Quand votre unit6 transmet des bruits lors
de la reception d'une Emission, les causes
sont g^n^ralement dues a des objets ex-
t^rieurs comma des lampes fuorescentes et
des appareils managers utilisant un moteur
^lectrique ou un thermostat ou autres
