1. GROUND (EARTH)
The GROUND screw terminal is provided
on the rear penel to provide means for all
equipment chassis to be at the same poten¬
tial In a Hi-Fi installation.
2. PHONO INPUT SENSITIVITY &
IMPEDANCE SELECTORS
Set to either 2 mV, 4 mV or 8 mV for
sensitivity, and to 25 kohms, 50 kohms and
100 lohms for impedance depending on
specification of your cartridge (if specifi¬
cation does not correspond exactly, set to
nearest value is also satisfactory as each
setting covers a range to extent).

LICHKEIT UND IMPEDANZWAHLER
Die Empfindlichkeit wird entweder auf
2 mV, 4 mV Oder 8 mV eingestellt und auf
25 kohm, 50 kohm Oder 100 kohm fur
Impedanz, die von den Eigenschaften Ihres
Tonabnehmcr abhangt (falls die Eigenschaf¬
ten nicht ganz zusammenpassen, wird die
naheliegendste Elnstellung gewahit, da jede
Einstellung eine Ausbreitreserve hat.

2. SELECTEURS D'IMPEDANCE &
SENSIBILITEDE L'ENTREE PHONO
Placer soil sur 2 mV, 4 mV ou 8 mV pour la
sensibility et sur 25 kohms, 50 kohms et
100 kohms pour rimpddance en fonction
de la caractyristique de votre cartouche
(si la caractyrisiique ne correspond pas
exactement, placer sur la valeur la plus
proche est aussi satifaisant car chaque
ytalonnage pry$ente une extension).
3. PRE AMP OUT AND MAIN AMP IN
RECEPTACLES
There are pairs of terminals marked PRE
AMP OUT and MAIN AMP IN on the back
of the unit. Normally with the Separation
Switch in UNITE, your amplifier is the
combined equipment of integrated pre-
ampiifier and main-amplifier sections. How¬
ever, by sliding the switch to SEPARATE,
your unit In essence becomes two indepen¬
dent components consisting of one pre¬
amplifier and one main-amplifier.
These receptacles are intended for use with
any necessary equipment designed to be
installed between the pre-ampllfier and the
main-amplifier or for separate use of either
section alone. Such equipment as electronic
audio equalizer or reverberation unit can be
used; or, another pre-amplifier or main-
amplifier may be hooked up. Simply set the
switch to SEPARATE and follow the in¬
structions supplied with the accessory
equipment. When no auxiliary equipment is
being used, the Separation Switch MUST be
left in UNITE position in order to use your
amplifier,

An der Ruckseite des Cerates befinden sich
Anschlusspaare, die mit PRE AMP OUT und
MAIN AMP IN markiert sind. Mit dem
gewohniich in UNITE — Position stehenden
Trennschalter ist Ihr Verstarker eine kom-
binierte Aniage von integriertem Vor-und
Leistungsverstarkerteil. Durch Umschalten
des Schalters in SEPARATE-Stellung werden
aus dem Gerat eigentlich zwei unabhangige
Komponenten, bestehend aus einem Vor-
und einem Leistungsverstarker.
DIese Steckdosen sind fiir die Verwendung
von Zusatzgerat gedacht, welches zwischen
Vor-und Leistungsverstarker gesetzt Oder
zum getrennten Gebrauch fiir eines der Teile
entwickelt wurde. Cerate wie: elektronische
Entzerrer Oder Echo — Hall — Gerat konnen
benutzt, Oder ein anderer Vor — Oder
Leistungsverstarker angeschlossen werden.
Der Schalter wird nur auf SEPARATE —
Stellung gesetzt und danach sind die An-
weisungen der Anleitungen fur die Zusatz-
gerate zu befolgen. Wenn kein Zusatzgerat
verwendet wird, muss der Trennschalter in
UNITE — Position bleiben, um den Ver¬
starker in Betrieb nehmen zu konnen.

Commutateur de Separation a UNITE, votre
amplificateur est un ensemble combine avec
une partle pre-ampllficateur et une partie
amplificateur principal. Toute fois, en
glissaot le commutateur vers SEPARATE,
votre equipement devient, en fait, deux
appareils indypendants dont un pre-ampli-
ficateur et un amplificateur principal.
Ces prises ont ety fournies pour I'utilisation
avec quelque equipement nycessaire que
ce soit, destine a Stre insialle entre le
pre-amplificateur et I'ampllflcateur principal
ou pour une utilisation separye de chacune
des deux parties. Un equipement tel qu'un
egalisateur audio-yiectronique ou une
chambre d'ycho peut ytre utilisy; ou bien
un autre pry-amplificateur ou amplificateur
principal peut etre associe. Placer simple-
ment le commutateur a SEPARATE et
suivre les instructions fournies avec les
ypuipements accessoires. Quand aucun
yquipement accessoire n'est utili$y, le Com¬
mutateur de Syiection OOIT ETRE laissy
sur la position UNITE pour I'utilisation de
votre amplificateur.
