Prepare the the gluing area, apply adhesive
•
Prepare the vehicle roof (see Abb. 6-1, 1) and the GFRP frame (see Abb. 6-2, 1) in the gluing area:
1. Thoroughly clean (Sika Remover 208)
2. Grid

Apply Sikaflex
to the GFRP frame (see Abb. 6-2) and the vehicle (see Abb. 6-1).
•
Also apply a sufficient amount of adhesive to the fastening points of the mechanics (see Abb. 6-2, 2).

The amount of glue depends on the vehicle.
o
The heights of the adhesive lanes and blobs must be so hight that the frame of the pop top roof lies in
the adhesive on the vehicle roof.
•
Carefully put on the lifting roof and fix it at the four screw connection points (using M6 screws and sealing wash-
ers). Do not force the frame to avoid cracks.
•
From the inside, glue the cut edges of the body with the EasyFit frame to the fastenings of the belt brackets
(see Abb. 6-3).
Tip: Remove the excess Sikaflex directly. Until the curing process of the glue (approx. 24 hrs.)

3. Thoroughly clean again
4. activate with Sika Activator 205 (flash-off
time: 10 minutes, max. 2 hours)
