Preparing the electrode
1 Carefully remove the immersion cap. To
do this, turn the immersion cap seal
counter-clockwise and draw the pH
probe out of the immersion cap.
2 Rinse the electrode with water and blot
dry with tissue paper.
CAUTION: Rubbing the electrode can
considerably prolong the response
time of the electrode because of static
3 Check the inside of the glass
membrane for air bubbles. Remove any
bubbles present by carefully shaking
the electrode in the vertical direction.
- The electrode is now ready for use.
