4. Assembly / Adjustments
You can carry out the adjustments of your wheelchair yourself with a little
manual dexterity. If you have any queries, please contact your mobility
dealer.
Please be careful of your fingers when making
adjustments. Risk of entrapment!

4.1. Folding and unfolding
Delivery
Your new Bischoff & Bischoff wheelchair is delivered assembled and
folded in the original carton by Bischoff & Bischoff.
To avoid damages during transportation, parts which have to be stuck on
are delivered separately (fig. 03).

Unfolding
Put your wheelchair next to you. Tip it as far as necessary to relieve the
drive wheel. Now push with your flat hand the seat pipe which is closer to
you and unfold the wheelchair (fig. 04).
Then swing the push bar onto the handles and fix it with the hand screw
(fig. 5).
Please be careful of your fingers when unfolding.

Folding
Place your wheelchair next to you. Fold the foot plate upward
and undo the Velcro fastener of the back cover under the seat. Loosen the
hand screw on the right handle and swing the push bar down (fig. 06).
Now pull the seat cover upward until the chair is completely folded, and
press the armrests together (fig. 07).
Please be careful of your fingers when unfolding.
Danger of pinching.
4.2. Leg rests
The Econ XXL is equipped with removable leg rests (fig. 08).
Both leg supports are supplied with the foot plates attached. The foot
plates on both leg supports can be folded upwards in the sitting position.
In addition, a continuous footrest is available for you to use.
Continuous footrest
You can easily fit the continuous footrest onto both foot plates (fig. 9).
You can easily pull the footrest off again to get in and out.
