6) Hold the CODE! key no more than approx. 15 cm from the
power tool so that the sender (5) in the CODE! key points
vertically to the machine's receiver (4). A black point near the
power tool's LED (3) marks the receiver (4). Ensure it is
accurately aligned! See fig. on page 3.
7) Keep the two keys "Close" (1)
simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. A long acoustic
signal will sound if the code has been successfully
transferred onto the machine; 4 short acoustic signals are
given if the code has not been successfully transferred. If this
happens, consult the "Problems, faults" chapter to see how to
remove the fault(s). Repeat the necessary stops in this
chapter to bring the procedure to a successful end.
The code which you selected is now saved on the machine.
Locking and opening the machine:
The machine can only be opened and closed if its code is set
on the CODE! key (on the three code wheels).
Plug in the machine. Machine must be switched off.
Hold the CODE! key on the power tool in such a way (maximum
distance: approx. 15 cm) that the sender (5) in the CODE! key
points vertically to the machine's receiver (4). A black point near
the power tool's LED (3) marks the receiver (4). Ensure it is
accurately aligned! See fig. on page 3.
• Closing the machine: press key (1)
signals will sound, the machine is locked and the LED (3) on
the machine flashes continuously. If 4 brief acoustic signals
sound, see the "Problems, faults" chapter.
• Opening the machine: press key (2)
signal sounds, the machine is open and ready for operation.
The LED (3) on the machine stops flashing. If 4 brief
acoustic signals sound, see the "Problems, faults" chapter.
