Set the new code and transfer it to the machine:
Metabo machines are delivered open and are hence ready for
operation. In order to lock your machine, you must first set the
code you have selected on the CODE! Key and transfer this
code to the machine by pressing the key. From now on, there
is only one CODE! Key (with your code setting) for opening
and locking your machine.
Caution! Numerical references, see fig. on page 3. Please
unfold!
1) The power plug on your electric tool must be plugged in.
Machine must be switched off.
2) If necessary, open CODE! Key: unscrew the two housing
screws on the CODE! Key with a suitable screwdriver.
Remove the housing cover.
3) Set a code on the 3 code wheels (7) inside the CODE! Key.
You can choose any code you wish (e.g.: 1 - 4 - E). We
recommend a slot-head screwdriver for this purpose.
4) NB! Enter the code for this machine in the following table and
store the table in a safe place. The code will be a vital
necessity if the CODE! key is lost or you want to change the
code.
When reading the code, hold CODE! key the right way around
- otherwise you will not read the characters in the right order.
