The integrated control light will then be
lit and the device heats up.
7. Let the device preheat for about
5-10 minutes.
The device is now ready for operation.
8. Turn the on/off switch 3 to O to switch
the device off again. The integrated
control light goes off.
9. Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the
mains socket after use. Only then is the
device completely de-energised.
6.2 Preparing raclette
1. Fill one raclette pan 6 at a time with the
desired ingredients.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
During preparation do not leave the
plastic spatula 5 on the hot grill plate 1
or in the raclette pan 6. The plastic spat-
ulas can also become hot.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
In the raclette pan 6 and on the surface
of the grill plate 1, only use the plastic
spatulas 5 included in the items sup-
plied, and never cutlery made of metal.
NOTE: do not overfill the raclette pan 6,
otherwise the ingredients could touch the
heating element 7 and burn.
2. Figure B: place the raclette pan 6 into
a recess 8.
3. Remove the raclette pan 6 from the de-
vice as soon as the ingredients are
done.
4. Push the contents of the raclette pan 6
onto a plate using a plastic spatula 5.
NOTE: since the raclette pans 6 have a
non-stick coating, they do not need to be
oiled again before each additional portion.

6.3 Barbecuing on the grill
plate
While the ingredients in the raclette pans 6
under the heating element 7 are cooking,
you can simultaneously cook small pieces of
meat, fish, vegetables or fruit on the grill
plate 1.
7. Cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock due to moisture!
Disconnect the mains plug 4 from the
mains socket before any cleaning.
Never immerse the device in water, and
protect it from drips and splashes.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning!
Prior to cleaning, let the device cool
down until there is no longer a risk of
burning.

CAUTION
Never use any abrasive, corrosive or
scouring cleaning agents. This can dam-
age the coated surface of the grill
plate 1 and raclette pans 6.
NOTE: do not wait too long after cooling
before cleaning, otherwise food residues
will dry hard and become difficult to re-
move.
7.1 Cleaning the base unit
1. Clean the base unit 2 with a damp
cloth and a little detergent.
2. Wipe with clear water.
3. Do not use the device until it is com-
pletely dry again.
