7. Maintenance
7.1 Maintenance Intervals
The firm Knürr recommends the following replacement intervals:
- exchange of the pump group after two years operating time at utmost utilisation
- exchange of the valve drive after two years operating time at utmost utilisation
The firm Knürr recommends the following check intervals:
- annual check of admission pressure at the extension tank, nitrogen probably to be refilled
- annual functional check of the flap trap
- annual functional check of the control valve
. annual functional check of the safety valve
- annual functional check of the temperature controllers / pressure controllers
- annual check of the filter screens on the secondary side, check screen for damage,
clean the screen
- annual check of pump gland tightness

- regularly check pressure on the secondary side and, if necessary, refill cooling water
- regularly check the safety subassembly for leakage
- regularly check for damage, corrosion, leakage
- regularly check insulation for damage and completeness
- regularly check temperature and pressure gauges for damage
- regularly check pump bearings for noise
Switch cabinet
- regularly check the optical and acoustic controls inside the switch cabinet
- regularly check contactors and relays for wear-and-tear and damage
- annually check switch and control processes
- annually check functionality of emergency setting
- annually check position encoder/limit transmitter for functionality
- annually check control circuit for set values
CoolTrans
The user takes responsibility for carrying out the maintenance and
replacement measures as described in the following and for observing the
prescribed time intervals.
Check at least annually for impurification and, if necessary,
clean the filter screen. One dirt trap has been installed on
the suction side of each pump in the secondary circuit.
