Dual−channel monitoring
When dual−channel monitoring is activated, the walkie−talkie auto-
matically switches between two channels until a communication si-
gnal is detected. This means you can talk to two callers on separate
channels.

Transmitting the ringing tone
The ringing tones indicate to other subscribers that you want to talk
to them. A condition for this is that the other subscribers are using
the same channel and CTCSS code.

When dual−channel monitoring is active, the channel cur-
rently set and the additional channel appear alternately in
the display.
Activate the programming mode
Select the additional channel and
confirm it
Change the CTCSS code and
confirm it
Change the DCS code and confirm it
Activate the programming mode
End dual−channel monitoring
Transmit ringing tones
Activate the programming mode
Select the ringing tone and confirm it
Activate the programming mode
