Introduction
Before you begin, please read this manual to ensure correct usage of the product, and keep it in
a safe place for future reference.
The J3S-X/J5S-X/J6S-X steam traps with thermostatic air vent (X-element) are suitable for a
wide range of applications up to 2.1 MPaG (300 psig), such as tracer lines, unit and
process heaters, heating coils, heat exchangers, etc.
The J3S-X S1/J3S-X S2 steam traps with thermostatic air venting (X-element) are designed
especially for use in rubber vulcanizer applications up to 1.4 MPaG (200 psig). They feature a
cover plug for retrofitting a lock release valve against steam locking, a drain plug for installing a
blow down valve, and an internal screen with (S2) or without (S1) wire mesh.
The traps discharge condensate continuously and automatically, at a temperature slightly lower
than saturation temperature.

Bitte lesen Sie die Betriebsanleitung vor Einbau und Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch und be-
wahren Sie sie für späteren Gebrauch an einem leicht zugänglichen Ort auf.
Die Kugelschwimmer-Kondensatableiter J3S-X/J5S-X/J6S-X mit thermischem Entlüfter (X-
Element) können für alle Anlagengrößen und mit Betriebsdrücken bis 21 bar ü eingesetzt werden.
Die Kondensatableiter J3S-X S1/J3S-X S2 mit thermostatischer Entlüftung (X-Element) sind
speziell für Anwendungen in Vulklanisieranlagen bis 14 bar ü ausgelegt. Anstelle des
Gehäusedeckelstopfen kann ein Bypassventil gegen Dampfabschluss installiert werden, der
Entwässerungsstopfen ermöglicht die Installation eines Ventils zum Leitungsausblasen, und das
eingebaute Schmutzsieb ist mit (S2) oder ohne (S1) Drahtgeflecht erhältlich.
Sie eignen sich besonders für Anwendungen, bei denen Kondensat mit geringer Unterkühlung
unter Sattdampftemperatur abgeleitet werden soll, insbesondere zur Leitungsentwässerung, sowie
für alle Arten von Wärmetauschern und Prozessanlagen.

Les purgeurs de vapeur J3S-X/J5S-X/J6S-X avec purge d'air thermostatique (élément X)
peuvent être utilisés sur des applications de toutes capacités jusqu'à 21 bar.
Les purgeurs de vapeur J3S-X S1/J3S-X S2 avec une purge d'air thermostatique (élément-X) ont
été spécialement conçus pour l'application aux presses à caoutchouc et pressions jusqu'à 14
bar. Ils sont équipés de bouchon de couvercle pour l'installation d'une vanne de balayage vapeur
contre le blocage vapeur, un bouchon de vidange pour l'installation d'une vanne de décharge, et
une double (S2) ou une simple (S1) filtration.
Ces modèles conviennent aux installations de chauffage évacuant le condensât à une
température légèrement inférieure à la température de saturation, telles les conduites de vapeur,
échangeurs de chaleur et équipement pour procédés de tout genre.
