Assemble the stand pole RV 3.1 (Accessories)
• Assemble the condenser locking device according to the
diagram.
• Mount the plate (1) using the thumb screw (2).
• Put the support rod (4) on the plate (1) and attach it with
the screw nut (3).
• Attach the rubber protector (5).
• Fasten the Velcro ® band (6) to the support rod (4).
• Secure the vertical glassware with the Velcro

The device is maintenance-free. It is only subject to the
natural wear and tear of components and their statistical
failure rate.
The seal on the glass condenser should be checked at regu-
lar intervals and replaced if necessary.
Cleaning
Remove the device from the
mains before cleaning.
Only use cleaning materials recommended by IKA
Dirt Cleaning agent
Dyes Isopropyl alcohol
Building materials Water containing detergent/isopropyl
alcohol
Cosmetics Water containing detergent/isopropyl
alcohol
Food Water containing detergent
Fuels Water containing detergent
Other materials Please consult IKA
Wear protective gloves during cleaning the devices.
Electrical devices may not be placed in the cleansing agent
for the purpose of cleaning.

Maintenance and cleaning
Do not allow moisture to get into the device when clean-
ing.
Before using another than the recommended method for
cleaning or decontamination, the user must ascertain with
IKA
