For models including a heat
exchanger (solar coil), the circu­
it must not exceed 1.0 MPa (10
ATTENZIONE
bar) and its temperature must
not exceed 80°C, the installation
of a reset safety thermostat is re­
quired manual supplied with the
equipment, which interrupts the
power supply to the solar circu­
lator when the intervention tem­
perature of 80°C is reached.
Any repair, maintenance, hydrau­
lic and electrical connection must
be carried out by qualified tech­

nicians, exclusively with the use
of original spare parts. Failure to
comply with the above instruc­
tions may compromise the safety
of the equipment and relieves the
manufacturer of any responsibili­
ty for the consequences.
For the correct operation of the
device, the inlet water pressure
must be:

­ maximum 0.7 MPa (7 bar);
­ minimum 0.15 MPa (1.5 bar).

Water may drip from the safe­
ty valve drain hose; leave this
tube open to the atmosphere.
ATTENTION
The safety valve must be
operated regularly to remo­
ve limescale deposits and to
check that it is not blocked.
Destruction of the equipment
due to overpressure caused
by blockage of the safety val­
ve will void the warranty.
Connect a rubber pipe to the
condensate drain, taking care
not to force too much so as
not to break the drain pipe
and refer to par. "8.7.3 Con­
densate drain connection" on
page 178.
For correct operation of the ap­
pliance, it is essential to install a
0.7 MPa (7 bar, not supplied) sa­
ATTENTION
fety valve on the cold water inlet.
This safety device must not be
tampered with and must be ope­
rated frequently to check that
it is not blocked and to remove
any limescale deposits. Water
may drip from the pressure relief
outlet pipe and the pipe should
be left open to atmosphere. The
discharge pipe connected to the
pressure relief device must be in­
stalled in a constantly downward
direction and in an environment
free from the formation of ice.
The use of a pressure reducer
(not supplied) is required if the
incoming water pressure is grea­
ter than 0.7 MPa (7 bar), and this
must be connected to the water
mains.
The discharge pipe of the sa­
fety valve must be installed
downwards and in an envi­
ronment not subject to freezing.
