1. PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
1. 1. FIELD OF APPLICATION
The CONTROL UNIT P.TILT RTS M+L is an operating control fitted with RTS radio technology. It is used to
control a wired Somfy drive with mechanical end limit setting for pergolas a white LED lighting source
by means of a power supply unit at constant voltage (12 V or 24 V) via a Somfy RTS control point (for
more details, contact your retailer).
1. 2. LIABILITY
Before installing and using the CONTROL UNIT P.TILT RTS M+L receiver, read these instructions carefully.
The CONTROL UNIT P.TILT RTS M+L must be installed by a drive and home automation
professional, in accordance with the instructions from Somfy and the regulations applicable in
the country in which it is commissioned.
This product does not have an anti-pinch safety feature. The pergola must be installed in such a way that
it is safe for people and property at heights below 2.50 m.
Any use of the CONTROL UNIT P.TILT RTS M+L receiver outside its field of application described above is
prohibited. Such use, and any failure to comply with the instructions given in this guide, absolves Somfy
of any liability and invalidates the warranty.
