5. ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Do not use this product if it is not completely
assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged.
Use of a product that is not properly and completely
assembled or with damaged or missing parts could result in
serious personal injury.
5.1 Inserting/Removing the Battery (Fig. 2)
To remove the battery, push in the release buttons and pull
the battery pack away from the tool.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body of the tool.
Make sure it latches securely into place.
5.2 Inserting/Removing the side handle (Fig. 3)
The side handle may be installed on either side or top of the
gear case. Position the side handle in the location which
offers best control and guard protection. To install, thread
side handle into side handle socket and tighten securely.
To remove, thread side handle out from side handle socket
from the tool.
