5.3 Inserting/Removing the backing pad (Fig. 4)
Remove the battery pack. WARNING! Always remove battery
pack before changing or removing accessories.
Wipe the accessories and spindle to remove dust and
debris. Inspect the parts for damage. Replace if needed.
Press in the spindle lock button and thread the backing pad
into the spindle. Hand tighten securely. Make sure the
backing pad firmly screwed in to avoid deataching off while
suddenly stopping.
To remove backing pad, remove the battery pack and
reverse the procedure.
5.4 Attaching/Removing polishing/sanding accessories (Fig. 5)
Remove the battery pack. WARNING! Always remove battery
pack before changing or removing accessories.
To install, line up the polishing/sanding accessory with the
backing pad and press firmly onto the tool.
To remove, pull the polishing/sanding accessory off of the
backing pad
6. OPERATION
6.1 Charging (Fig.6)
Assure that the charger you use are applicable to the battery
pack.
Insert the charger into power supply.
Insert the battery into the slot of charger. Make sure the
contact with the charger is correct
The charging status is displayed by the control lights.
Power indicator will turn on.
Red light=charging.
Green light=Ready for charging or charging completed.
Charger will automatically stop when charging is
completed.
Unplug the charger and disconnect it from the battery pack
when finished.
Allow the battery pack to cool completely before using it.
Store the charger and battery pack indoors, out of reach of
children.
Battery capacity indicator
There are battery capacity indicators on the tool, you can
check the capacity status of the battery if you press the
ON/OFF switch. Those 3 LED show the status of the capacity
level of the battery.
All 3 LEDs(RED/YELLOW/GREEN) are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 LEDs (RED/YELLOW) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED(RED) is lit:
The battery is in low power, please recharge the battery.

6.2 Speed control dial (Fig. 7)
The Speed adjustor is on top of the motor housing. Allow the
tool to come to a complete stop before changing speeds.
For Low speed, push the speed adjustor to display "L".
For High speed, push the speed adjustor to display "H".
Optimal speed setting for each application is dependent on
work surface and personal preference; however manufacturer
recommends using lower settings for waxing/polishing and
higher settings for sanding. As a rule, when sanding, you will
generally want to use a higher setting on harder materials and
lower setting on softer materials. It is also recommended that
you first experiment on a piece of scrap of the same material
as your work surface to determine what gives you the best
combination of finish quality and removal rate for your
application.
6.3 Starting, Stopping and Controlling Speed (Fig. 8)
These tools may be operated at any speed from 0 to full
speed.
a. To start the tool, press the lock off button at first and then
press ON/OFF switch . NOTE: An LED light is turned on
when the switch is pressed.
b. To vary the driving speed, increase or decrease pressure on
the switch. The further the switch is pressed, the greater
the speed.
c. To stop the tool, release the switch.
6.4 General operation (Fig. 9)
1. Make sure that the workpiece is properly supported and
both hands are free to control the tool.
2. Hold the tool firmly with one hand on the switch handle and
the other hand on the side grip.
3. Turn the tool on, letting the wheel reach full speed, and
then carefully enter into operation moving the tool forward
over the workpiece surface.
4. Having finished, switch the tool off and wait until the wheel
has come to a complete stop before putting the tool down.
6.5 Polishing operation (Fig. 10)
1. Surface treatment
Use a wool pad for rough finishing then use a spongepad for
fine finishing.
2. Applying wax
Use a sponge pad. Apply wax to the sponge pad or work
surface. Run the tool at low speed to smooth out wax.
CAUTION: Do not apply excessive wax or polishing
agent. It will generate more dust and may cause eye or
respiratory diseases.
NOTE: First, perform a test waxing on an
inconspicuous portion of the work surface. Make sure
that the tool will not scratch the surface or result in
uneven waxing.
