neoprene gloves todispose of it.If skin is exposed to battery
fluids, wash with soapand waterand rinse withvinegar. Ifeyes
are exposed to batterychemicals, immediatelyflush with
waterfor 20 minutes and seekmedical attention. Remove and
disposeof contaminated clothing.
8. DO NOT SHORT CIRCUIT. A battery will shortcircuitif a metal
object makesa connection between the positive andnegative
contacts on the battery or the 16V connector. Do not place a
battery nearanything thatmay causea shortcircuit, such as
coins, keys, or nails in your pocket. A short circuited battery
may causefire and personal injury.
9. DO NOTOPERATE UNDER BLANKET AND PILLO W OR
BETWEEN COU CH CUSHIONS. Excessiveheatingcan occur
and cause fire, electricshock, or injury.
10.STORING THE DEVICE &BATTERY.Storeinacool,dryplace.
Only charge the device when the ambient temperature is
between 0°C/32°F- 40°C/104°F.Do not storethe deviceor
batterieswheretemperaturesmayexceed40°C/104°F,suchasin
directsunlightorinavehicle.
11.DISPOSING O F BATTERIES. The TheraFace PRO lithium-ion
batteries for the device are more environmentally friendly
than some other types of batteries. Always disposeof device
batteries according to federal, state, and local regulations.
Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations.
Even discharged batteries contain some energy. Before
disposing, use electrical tape to cover the device's 16V
connector/terminals to prevent the battery from shorting,
which could causea fire or explosion.
12.DO NOT DISASSEMBLE. Disassembly or incorrectreassembly
may result in the risk of electric shock, fire, or exposure to
battery chemicals. The warranty will be void if the device,
batteries, or charger are disassembled or if any parts have
been removed.
13.SERVICE. If the device, batteries, or chargeris not working
properly, has receiveda sharp blow,or has been dropped,
damaged,left outdoors, or dropped intowater,then do not use
it. Do not attempt to repairor disassemblethe device which
may resultin an electric shock or fire.
14.DO NOTUSE WHILE BATHING OR IN THE SHOWER, TUB,
OR SINK. Do not place or store the device or batteries where
it can fall or be pulled intoa tub or sink. Do not place in or
drop intowateror other liquid. Do not reach for an appliance
that has fallen into or come intocontact withwater.Unplug
immediately.
15.THERMAL LIMITER. Thedevice has an automatic resetthermal
limiter that shuts off the device to prevent overheatingand fire.
16.POLARIZEDPLUG. Toreduce the risk of electricshock, this
appliancehas a polarizedplug (oneblade is widerthan the other).
This plug will fit in a polarizedoutlet only one way.If the plug
does not fit fullyin the outlet,reverse the plug. If it still doesnot
fit, contact a qualifiedelectrician toinstall the TheragunProper
outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
17.DO NOT OPERATE the device whereaerosol (spray)is being
used or where oxygenis being administered.
