19. Additional instructions for connecting the contactor case WE 53 to the sauna heater
and IR panels.
NOTE! The Helo Elite control panel must be used when the sauna heater and the IR panels are
used together.
When infrared heaters are also installed in the sauna room, the IR function must be activated via the settings. When the IR
function is activated, the setting scale is shown in the settings.
The IR heaters are time-controlled. However, the IR heaters will not work if the temperature in the sauna room is too high or
if the required temperature is set above 60°C.
When the IR function is active, the setting level is shown on the display.
When a new sauna session starts, and the IR function has been activated, the heating IR panels are continuously heated for
20 minutes, after which the IR panels switch to their scheduled operation, depending on the selected set point (see table).
When the sauna temperature is set to 40°C, the sauna heater will not heat the sauna room at all; rather only the IR heaters
are active. The time the IR heaters remain switched on depends on the selected setting level (see table). If the temperature
is set between 41°C and 60°C and the temperature in the sauna room has not yet reached the required temperature, the
sauna heater will warm up simultaneously with the IR heaters.
