sprecher-Box, oder eines Kleinhérers 340. Durch den AnschluB wird der
eingebaute Lautsprecher abgeschaltet.
Das Einlegen des Tonbandes
Die volle Tonbandspule legen Sie auf den linken, die Leerspule auf den
rechten Wickelteller. Danach fuhren Sie ein ca. 20 cm langes Bandende
senkrecht und straff gespannt in den Bandftihrungsschlitz ein. Nach einer
Vierteldrehung entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn ziehen Sie das Bandende in
den Einfadelschlitz der Leerspule. Das tberstehende Ende soll mdglichst
kurz sein. Wahrend es gegen die Spulenoberflache gedrtickt festgehalten
wird, drehen Sie die Leerspule mit der Hand, bis das Vorspannband und
die Silberfolie aufgewickelt sind.
Zahiwerk
Das Zahlwerk
wird
durch
Driicken
der
Ruckstelltaste
auf Null
(0000)
gestellt. Bitte notieren Sie bei Aufnahmebeginn Titel und Zahlwerkstand
(und ebenso am Ende, wenn noch Band fiir weitere Aufnahmen frei bleibt).
Bei der Wiedergabe stellen Sie nach dem Einlegen des Bandes das Zahli-
werk ebenfalls auf 0000. Danach k6nnen Sie durch Vorspulen des Bandes
jeden gewunschten Titel anhand des Zahlwerkstandes
heraussuchen.

Socket 4 (Loudspeaker) KX]
This socket is used to connect an extension loudspeaker with an impe-
dance of 4...5 @. GRUNDIG
loudspeaker systems are suitable and so
are headphones type 340. The internal loudspeaker is automatically dis-
connected as soon as connection is made to Socket 4.
Threading the Tape
Two spools are supplied, one full of tape, the other empty. Place the
empty spool on the right-hand spindle, turn it until it falls into place and
is held securely by the ridges on the spindle. Place the full reel of tape
on the left-hand spindle. Pull off about 10" of tape and, whilst holding
it tight between
the fingers of both hands, drop it vertically into the
tape loading slot. Bring the end of the tape through the slot in the upper
flange of the empty spool, turn
this spoo! anti-clockwise
whilst still
holding the tape end and turn until all the coloured leader tape and the
metal foil are fully wound on the right-hand spool.
