9.6.2 Ivar 8 Store
9.6.2.1 Flue gas exhaust
The flue gas exhaust has a 6" diameter connection. The draining connection can be achieved by means of a fixed
pipe of 6". The flue gas exhaust can be connected at the top or rear of the appliance (see Appendix 2, fig. 2).
In case of a connection at the rear, please proceed as follows:
Ø
Remove the 2 bolts from the exhaust ring mounted at the top of the appliance.
Ø
Remove the bolts from the plate at the rear of the appliance.
Ø
Mount this plate on the top of the appliance, on the location where the exhaust ring used to be.
Ø
Mount the exhaust ring at the rear of the appliance by tightening the 2 bolts.
9.6.2.2 Outside air connection
An outside air connection is available for this appliance as an accessory. Assembly always takes place on the
bottom of the appliance.
With this appliance the supply is possible at the back and bottom side.
When installing an Ivar 8 Store
!Caution
the steps described under the heading 'Outdoor air connection pre-mounted'.
Outdoor air connection not pre-mounted:
When mounting the outside air connection, please proceed as follows (see Appendix 2, fig. 10a + 10b + 10c):
Supply through the back side:
Ø
Unscrew the 4 screws of the reflection plate and remove the plate. The reflection plate is located under the air
slide and protects the wood stacked below the stove against the high temperatures created in the appliance.
Ø
Break out the plate at the back of the appliance with a hammer.
Ø
Loosen the 5 bolts that are pre-mounted on the outside air connection.
Ø
Bring the outside air connection against the plate on the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Then re-tighten the 5 bolts.
Ø
Fasten the tray for the benefit of the rear connection with 4 bolts.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose to the round 'pipe opening' of the above-mentioned tray.
The round pipe opening for the benefit of the lower connection is not needed during installation and should be

disposed of responsibly.
Always place back the reflection plate!.
CAUTION!
Supply through the bottom side:
Ø
Remove the 4 reflection plate screws and remove the plate. The reflection plate is located under the air slide valve
and protects the wood stacked below the stove against the high temperatures created in the appliance.
Ø
Break the plate out of the reflector plate and break the plate out of the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Loosen the 5 bolts that are pre-mounted on the outside air connection.
Ø
Bring the outside air connection against the plate on the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Then re-tighten the 5 bolts.
Ø
Fasten the pipe opening for the bottom connection with 4 bolts.
Ø
Bring the flexible hose through the hole in the reflector plate.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose to the pipe opening.
Ø
Replace the restriction plate.
The tray for the rear connection is not needed during installation and should be disposed of responsibly.
Caution!
Outdoor air connection pre-mounted:
Ø
Connect the flexible hose (Ø 80 mm) to the round 'pipe mouth' of the outdoor air connection.
In the case of the Ivar 8 Store
!Caution
ensure an airtight connection of the flexible hose to the round 'pipe mouth' by using heat resistant sealant.
If you want to disassemble the outdoor air connection, you should perform the above-mentioned steps in reverse
order.
