Thank you for choosing the Testboy TV 329 you have chosen. Testboy TV 329 is a
measuring instrument for non-contact temperature measurement. It was built according
to the current state of the art.
Operation
The intended use includes the non-contact measurement of temperatures from -50 to
+550 °C. Only 1.5 V AA batteries or identical types may be used for the power supply.
Product description
Non-contact temperature measurement is ideal on rotating or live parts, etc., as
conventional contact temperature measurement is not possible on such parts. The
device features fast response time and a high temperature measuring range in a robust
and practical pistol housing. The data hold function allows the measured value to be
stored for a short time. Furthermore, the device is equipped with a laser that can be
switched off and a backlight.

Maintenance and cleaning
To avoid electric shocks, do not allow moisture to enter the housing.
Clean the housing at regular intervals with a dry cloth without cleaning agents. Do

not use abrasives, scouring agents or solvents.
Blow loose dirt particles off the IR lens. Brush off any remaining dirt with a fine
|
lens brush.
