Fitting the harness

Check the body harness for damage prior to every use! For fittings (attachment points and adjustable buckles),
seams and straps, check to ensure completeness or whether there is wear and tear. If there are any doubts about
the safety condition, revoke its use immediately. Overview of possible locking mechanisms (buckles) The locks
and/or the adjustment elements must be checked regularly during use.

Take the harness by the back 'D' ring,

Put on the shoulder straps one after the other

Close the chest strap
Pass the thigh straps between your legs, in order to lock them into the buckles on either side of your

hips. Be careful not to cross the thigh straps

Adjust the thigh straps one after the other by pulling or releasing the strap end

Adjust the shoulder straps one after the other by pulling or releasing the strap ends.

Connect the thorax attaching points of the harness using a connector (acc. to EN362 )
Once your harness is adjusted, check that no webbing is twisted or crossed over, that all the buckles are

correctly attached and that the back 'D' is situated at the level of the shoulder blades. For optimum safety,
do not hesitate to seek help.
Never secure yourself to the plastic eyes for hooks which are attached to the shoulder straps.
These eyelets may only be used to attach temporarily unnecessary carabiners or smaller bags up
to max. 2 kg.
Anchorage point
The harness anchorage point should be situated above the user and must comply with EN 795 (minimum strength:
R>12kN - EN 795:2012); work positioning anchorage must be situated at or above waist belt level and must comply
with EN 795. Make sure that the work is done in such a way as to limit the pendulum effect, as well as the risk and
the height of a fall. For safety reasons and before each use, make sure that in the event of a fall there is no obstacle
obstructing the normal deployment of the fall arrest system (free space under the user's feet). The clearance under
the user's feet should be a minimum of: refer to the fall arrest system manual.
