Connection preparation
• Before connecting to the inverter, make sure that both
the battery storage unit and the inverter are switched off
and disconnected from the power supply.
• Note that the device must not be connected directly
to the AC power supply or the generator!
This can cause serious damage!
Only connect the battery storage unit to a compatible inverter
(Recommended model: HKW10-1P3).
• Before connecting, make sure that the PV open-circuit voltage
is within the permissible range of the inverter for the device
to avoid damage.
• Also observe the instructions for connection in the user manual
of your inverter.
Power connection between battery and inverter
The positive and negative poles of the battery pack use quick-plug
interfaces that allow direct connection without the need for any
other tools.
To do this, proceed as follows, keeping to the order of the steps:
• Note the colour coding of the power connection cables:
Orange = positive pole
Black = negative pole
• Connect the ring terminal of each battery power
cable to the corresponding terminal of the
DC connector on the inverter
and screw them tight.
• Connect the black quick connector to the
port marked – on the battery storage.
• Connect the orange quick connector to the
port marked + on the battery storage.
• Make sure that the connection is stable
and that a good contact is guaranteed.
