5.3 Mounting procedure
CAUTION!

Note that due to the heavy weight of the product
and its packaging, at least 2 persons are required
to lift and move it!
Some components of the unit can be sharp-edged!
Protect yourself from injury during installation,
e.g. by wearing work gloves!
The battery storage unit can be used as a stand-alone unit,
as well as with suspension on a wall.
In any case, attach it to the wall using the wall bracket supplied.
For installation the wall bracket on solid masonry
(brick, concrete or similar), proceed as described below.
If the battery storage is to be mounted on a different type of wall,
replace the fasteners mentioned according to the substrate.
Determining and marking the mounting position
• Place the wall bracket centrally on the rear holding rail
of the battery storage unit standing on the floor
and push its hook elements into the rail from below.
• In this position, measure the distance of a screw hole
to the floor surface.
For wall mounting, add the desired distance of the battery
storage unit (lower edge) to the floor to the measured value.
• Transfer the height determined in this way to the wall
where the device is to be mounted at the desired location
and mark it.
• Place the wall bracket horizontally on the wall in such a way
that the marking and the measured screw hole are on top of
each other and mark the positions of the other screw holes
(for dimensional sketch, see relevant section).
