3. Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Before carrying out any work on the device, including main-
tenance and cleaning, it must be disconnected from the entire
power supply by a suitably qualified specialist, including PV
strings if present.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, short circuit or overload
and the associated dangers, do not place or hang anything
on the device and make sure that nothing gets between the
cables.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
Some components of the device may heat up considerably
during operation!
If necessary, let them cool down before cleaning them
or similar!
3.1 Cleaning
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Moisture penetrating into live components can cause
life-threatening electric shocks!
Only use dry utensils for cleaning, as described below,
and do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners!
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage!
To avoid damage or discolouration of the surfaces,
do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol or acid, aggres-
sive or abrasive cleaning agents
and do not use sharp, pointed or rough utensils.
Do not expose the device to chemicals or vapours!
To keep your device looking its best and remain fully functional,
always keep it clean
and make sure the environment is dry and clean.
