Storage instructions
ATTENTION!
Limited shelf life when storing the battery storage!
Longer storage times and/or unfavourable storage conditions
can reduce the service life of the battery storage.
Follow the instructions below !
If the device is deformed, defective or leaking,
dispose of it immediately, regardless of the storage time!
Notesoncapacityreduction:
The capacity of a lithium battery decreases during storage
and usually declines irreversibly by 3%-10% after a storage
period of 12 months under the appropriate storage conditions.
If you need to store the unit for a certain period of time,
observe the following instructions to avoid damage:
• Pack the battery storage together with desiccant bags
if possible in the original packaging or similar packaging
and seal well.
• Choose a dry and clean storage place.
• Make sure to keep it in an upright position.
• Do not load the packaging.
• Only store the device for as long as absolutely necessary.
• Do not store the unit near chemically aggressive or corrosive
substances to avoid possible corrosion.
• During the storage period, check the battery storage unit regularly
for visible damage and replace the packaging if necessary.
• Make sure that the storage temperature
is within the appropriate range depending on the storage period,
as mentioned in the following table:
