• Any additional loads of the awning through
attached objects or through rope tensioning may
lead to damages and falling of the awning and
therefore are not permitted.
Cleaning and maintenance work in the
extension area of the awning
• It should be ensured that the awning is not
extended when cleaning and maintenance work
(e.g. building cleaners) is being carried out.
Maintenance
• Safe and risk-free use of the awning can be guar-
anteed only if the awning is checked and main-
tained on a regular basis. Inspect the awning reg-
ularly for signs of wear or damage to its covering
material or frame.
• If any damages are identified, a professional
should be given the tasks of repairing it. Awnings
that are in need of repair should not be used.
• Check the awning regularly for any signs of wear
or damages

► Assembly – p. 3
Note: Two people must perform the installa-
tion. A ladder is necessary. The awning must
be installed exactly horizontally to ensure
trouble free extension and retraction.
Note: Please note that the bracket must be
installed about 10cm (Z) from the end of the
awning (► P. 3, item 2).
DANGER! Risk of injury! Never position
the selected fastening material in mortar
joints. Please observe specified edge dis-
tances. Make sure that there is enough load-
bearing capacity (masonry/wall material)
above the fastening holes to ensure that
there is no risk of any damage to the
masonry or wall material caused by the
forces acting on an extended awning.
DANGER! Risk of injury! In case of low
installation, please ensure that there are no
objects within the swivel range.
DANGER! Risk of injury! Strong forces act
on an awning when it is windy. An incorrectly
mounted awning can tear loose and cause
serious injuries.
WARNING! Danger of falling! Ensure a
stable stance during the installation.
Determine the height at which the awning is to be fas-
tened to the wall. If the awning is to be installed above
a door, the clearance above the door must be at least
20 cm. Please also observe the inclination angle of
the awning. The minimum inclination angle of the
cloth to the water drainage in case of rain must be
14°. After installation, the angle can be easily
changed as required. The front drop rod (front profile)
should have a clearance height of at least 2.5 m when
extended.
• Installation height: ► P. 3, item 1
– α = 10°
– α = 30°
– α = 45°
– Transfer the dimensions to the appropriate posi-
tion on the wall (► P. 3, item 2).
– X = 2400–2450 mm
– Y1 = 90 mm
– Y2 = 50 mm
– For this purpose, draw an exact horizontal line on
the wall at the desired height. Use a long tape
measure to do so, and check the position of the
line using a spirit level.
– To determine the position of the boreholes, slip
one bracket respectively onto the support tube in
the vicinity of an arm holder (20 cm to the left or
right of an arm holder). If enough installation
space is available, you should use the outer area
(20 cm) next to an arm holder respectively for
installation. An existing third bracket is positioned
in the centre of the awning.
– The selected positions of the brackets are now
marked on the support tube. Measure the posi-
tions in relation to a fixed point (e.g. the end of the
awning) and transfer the measured values along
