7) As soon as coffee starts pouring out of the filter-holder spouts, manually move the lever upwards
until it is half-way up, and then release it.
8) To obtain 2 coffees, use the 2-cup filter holder with two doses of coffee and repeat twice the above
operation in step 6 and 7.
9) If you want to make more coffee remove the filter holder by turning it from right to left and empty
out the used grounds. Repeat the above operations. Do not remove the filter holder during the process
of coffee dispensing!
Because it travels over a considerable distance during operation and cannot be stopped,
this lever may be dangerous if pulled when the filter holder is not installed on the machine.
Operation is especially hazardous if the filter holder is removed from the machine while
coffee is being brewed.
1) Steam is delivered by turning the side knobs.
2) Hot water is delivered by means of the central knob.
Steam and water are under pressure. SCALD HAZARD.
◆ Clean the steam wand after every use, so as to prevent scale deposits from obstructing the steam
outlet points.
◆ Empty and clean the coffee filters every evening; remove the filter and brush the inside with a suita-
ble brush; soak the filters in hot water in order to dissolve coffee greases.
◆ Remove coffee residues from the drip tray, otherwise it could get clogged.
◆ Clean the external parts of the machine with a damp cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive sub-
stances. Also for the interior hydraulic circuits must avoid to use aggressive and/or abrasive substanc-
es. Do not use jets of water to clean the machine.
◆ To clean the filter holder and the filters, leave them to soak for at least 30 minutes in a solution of
hot water and detergent prepared in a plastic or stainless steel container. Rinse them with clean water.
