1) Rotate the switch knob to position 1.
2) When the machine is switched on, the electronic card checks water level inside the boiler. After
approx. 3 seconds, the filling solenoid valve is enabled for filling.
3) In position 1 the coffee machine will automatically be filled with water up to the pre-set level (level
probe inside the boiler).
All machines come with a manual filling lever (fitted to the water distribution unit) (Photo 2) which can
be used in an emergency if the automatic level control device is not working properly.
4) When the boiler level indicator confirms that the water in the machine has reached the set level,
take the switch to position 2. The green warning light comes on.
6) Wait approximately 30 minutes to allow the machine to reach its operating temperature. When the
green warning light goes out the set machine pressure has been reached.
7) Adjust pressure inside the boiler to the usual specifications by
means of the relevant screw on the pressure gauge.

This operation must be carried out by a specialized tech-
nician.
8) The double-range pressure gauge on the front constantly meas-
ures boiler pressure (0,9 - 1,1 BAR) as well as water supply pressure
(1 - 3 BAR).
9) Frequently check the boiler level indicator and double-range
pressure gauge.
1) For the sake of safety, don't bring down the lever, if there is no coffee in the filter holder hooked on
the brewing group.
2) To make coffee, put the right amount of BAR GROUND coffee into the 1 - cup filter holder.
3) Press the coffee with the coffee tamper.
4) Fit the filter holder in the coffee distribution unit and twist from left to right to block it in place.
5) Place one cup under the filter holder.
6) Coffee is brewed by manually operating the unit lever downwards, up to the point in which it stays
in place.

5) When the switch is on position 2 the heating element is
activated and the heating element starts heating the water.

as to eliminate any air bubbles from the thermosyphon
