NOTE Should no water be drawn in via suc-
tion line (17) after approx. 90 seconds, the dry
running protection system switches the pump off
and ALARM and SUCTION SIDE appear on the
display. Check the suction line, transparent cover
(1) and all screw fittings for leaks, press the RE-
SET button and carry out initial commissioning
again.
6 OPERATION
6.1 Switching the pump on
1. Open all shut-off devices (valve, spray noz-
zle, water cock) in the pressure line (11).
2. Insert the plug of the mains cable into the
power socket. The pumps starts to pump.
3. Close the shut-off device in the pressure line
when there are no more air bubbles in the es-
caping water.

The pump switches off automatically after
building up the pressure and reaching the
switch-off pressure.
■
The pump is ready for operation.
■
When switching on via the pressure switch,
the display shows NORMAL X and PRES-
SURE together with the actual pressure.
6.2 Switching the pump off
1. Switch the pump off at the on / off switch af-
ter use.
2. Close all the shut-off devices in the pressure
line.
NOTE The pump switches off automatically
when the set switch-off pressure is achieved.

CAUTION! Danger of injury from hot wa-
ter After extended use against the closed pres-
sure side (> 10 min.), the water in the pump can
become very hot and may escape uncontrolled!

Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and allow the pump and water to cool down.
■
Put the pump into operation again only after
all the faults have been remedied!
The risk of injury from hot water can arise in the
event of:
■
Incorrect installation,
■
Closed pressure side,
■
Lack of water in the suction line, or
■
Defective pressure switch.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and allow the pump and water to cool down.
2. Check the pump, installation and water level.
3. Put the pump into operation again only after
all the faults have been remedied!
7 DISPLAY INDICATIONS
■
During initial commissioning, all information
appears on the display in English.
■
All functions can be called up using the
MODE button. The standards called up are
confirmed with the SET button.
NOTE The information in the second line of
the display are partially shown as running text
which provides running information continuously.
If the pump is in ALARM function, e.g. the air
pressure is too low, you cannot change the lan-
guage.
7.1 normal operation
Function / action
Press the MODE button for longer than 3 seconds,
the operator language is activated. Change the oper-
ator language by pressing the MODE button (30).
Confirm the new operator language by pressing the
SET button.
Initial commissioning Pump filled with water, suc-
tion and pressure side connected, water present on
the suction side. Pump connected to mains. Closing
off devices in the pressure line are open.
