TH E T I ME ZONES
The first time zone
Local time is displayed by the hour and minute hands. In our
example it is 10.08 a.m.
The second time zone
To set the second time zone, use the crown in position 2. Using
the crown set the arrow hand by turning it counterclockwise.
It stops at hourly intervals to the hour hand. In the example,
the time zone for Tokyo is displayed. The time difference
Winding crown
to Central European Time amounts to plus eight hours. The
arrow-shaped hand is thus moved forward by eight hours.
You can read the time in Tokyo by using the arrow-shaped
hand and the minute hand. In our example it is 6.08 p.m.

Crown position
This setting can be made between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. but
make sure that you also set the second time zone during this
time by turning the hands counter-clockwise! Otherwise the
movement could be damaged!

with the crown in the 10 o'clock position to display this time
zone. It engages at one-hourly intervals. To obtain the time
in New York, for instance, with a time lag of six hours behind
Central European Time, set the rotating bezel back six hours
from the time indicated on the dial. You can now read off
the time in this time zone using the hour and minute hands.
In our example it is 4.08 a.m.
