Remarque concernant la protection de l´environnement
Le décret relatif aux batteries usagées impose au consommateur
final de restituer toutes les piles et tous les accumulateurs usés (des
piles bouton aux batteries au plomb).
Vous pouvez retourner gratuitement toute pile et accumulateur
usagés à nos succursales ou à notre centrale à Hirschau, soit aux
centres de récupération communaux (centres de recyclage des
matériaux) qui sont tenus de vous les reprendre.
Contribuez, vous aussi, à la protection de l'environnement !
Mise en marche/Arrêt
Appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt (4) pour mettre en marche et
arrêter le thermomètre de poche.
Raccordement des capteurs de température
Branchez un capteur de température en vente dans le commerce de
type K aux entrées T1 (1) et T2 (2) (uniquement pour le K102). En cas
de défectuosité ou de non branchement du capteur, le message « -
--» apparaît sur l´écran LCD.
Veillez à ce que la tension maximale aux entrées ne dépasse
pas 60VCC ou 24 V CA !
Choix de l´unité de température °C / °F
Après avoir allumé le thermomètre, la valeur de température s´affi-
che en degré Celsius. En appuyant sur la touche °C/°F (8) vous
changez l´unité de température en degré Fahrenheit. Appuyez de
nouveau sur la touche °C/°F (8) pour afficher la température en
degré Celsius

Operation
Inserting/changing the battery
The hand thermometer requires a 9V block battery to operate. When
the battery is empty the display "Low Batt" "
the LCD display. The battery will need to be replaced as a correct
display cannot be made when the battery is low.
The procedure for changing the battery is as follows:
- Disconnect the device from the temperature sensor/s and turn it
off.
- Open the battery compartment (10) by pushing the battery com-
partment cover towards the bottom.
- Remove the empty battery and replace it with a new battery.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Do not leave the battery lying around, there is a danger
that a child might swallow it. Batteries that have expired
or been damaged can cause skin burns. Do not throw
batteries into the fire!
Environmental notice
As the end user you are legally obliged (battery regulations) to return
all used batteries (including button cell and lead batteries); disposal
in household refuse is forbidden.
