Incorrect wiring will cause incorrect functioning impairing the safety purpose
for which the product has been designed so that people injuries could occur;
failure to follow instructions can cause personal injury and/or property damage.
The correct working of the product must be checked once a year.
Procedure for the memorizing of the TCSP radio safety edge into the RCSP Master unit:
1- push and hold down for 2 seconds the P1 push-button of the RCSP Master device, after 2
seconds the L1 and L2 LEDs will start flashing.
2- Push the P1 push-button on the TCSP Slave device that has to be memorized. If the first TCSP
has been memorized the LED L2 will have a fixed light. If you have to memorized another safety
edge (on the contrary proceed to point 3) push the button P1 of the second Slave that has to be
memorized, if the second TCSP has been memorized the LED L1 will have a fixed light
3- To exit form this operation push and hold down the P1 push-button of the RCSP Master
device for 2 sec.
4- If the operation has been correctly done, the LED L2 and L1, will flash to indicate the
correct radio alignment (if only one Slave has been memorized, only the LED L2 will flash).
Check of the TCSP alignment:
In order to check if a TCSP Slave device is correctly aligned, push and hold down its P1 push-
button: if the safety edge is correctly aligned, the LED of the Slave will have a fixed light.
How to behave with several devices in the same room
In order to make coexist several radio devices installed in the same room, it is necessary to
memorise the item TCSP in the following way:
1- Supply with electricity the first installation to be memorised and disconnect from the power
supply the other installations.
2- Memorise the item TCSP in the first installation.
3- Keep the power supply of the first installation and supply the nearest second installation.
4- Memorise the item TCSP in the second installation.
5- Proceed with the other installations (choose the nearest to the last memorised one) by keeping
with power supply the already memorised installations.
Outputs functions:
A2 alarm output: the A2 relay contact is activated when the safety edge sends an alarm signal
coming from the safety device which is connected to the terminal boards 3-6 or 4-5-6 of the
TCSP.

Translated from original instructions
A1 alarm output: the A1 relay contact is activated when the safety edge sends an alarm signal
coming from the safety device which is connected to the terminal boards 1 and 2.
The relay contacts can be resistive or normally closed; by means of the jumpers J1 and J2 it is
possible to select the following functions:
J1 activated: A2 alarm output with NC contact
J1 deactivated: A2 alarm output with 8,2KHom resistance
J2 activated: A1 alarm output with NC contact
J2 deactivated: A1 alarm output with 8,2KHom resistance
Led functions of the Master unit:
LED L1- memorization and indication of the Slave device TCSP2 condition. Alarm A2
LED L2- memorization and indication of the Slave device TCSP1 condition
LED L3- alarm A1
The flashing light of the L2 LED (and L1 for the second Slave device if it is memorised) indicates
the correct radio alignment of the Slave device. A steady light indicates that the safety edge is
activated or that the survival radio signal has not been arrived. The LED L3 indicates that the
safety edge, connected to the terminals 1-2, is activated.
Input autotest signal
This input is activated with positive or negative signal from the control unit which controls the
motor. It helps to verify, before each movement, the correct functioning of the safety device.
The Master device activates the alarm output after the autotest request and reactivates it after
having verified with the Slave device the correct functioning. This operation permits to activate,
if required, the safety devices connected to the Master unit.
