3. OPERATION
Mode selector
Turn the mode selector to select the desired mode:
Symbol Function
Off
Fan mode
Medium power mode
High power mode
Temperature knob
- Turn the temperature knob clockwise until the desired temperature is reached.
- Turn the temperature knob to the MIN position to switch the appliance off, and then
unplug the device.
Anti-tilt switch
- The heater is designed to turn automatically off when tipped forward or backward. The
unit will automatically turn on once it is returned to its normal upright position.
- Do not use the heater on thick and long pile carpets, as the heater may not work because
the anti-tilt switch is not activated.
Safety system
- In the event of abnormal overheating, the safety device automatically switches the
appliance off. After a cooling phase, the device is ready for use again.
- If you still observe the same defect mentioned above, disconnect the plug from the
socket and consult the official Cecotec Technical Assistance Service.
- During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet. This could cause the unit to overheat and
the safety device to operate.
