Secure the mounting plate to the ceiling.

With two persons, place the cardboard box on

the worktop near the point where the extraction
hood is mounted.
Turn the box in a position that the sticker on the
top of the extraction hood with the text 'FRONT'
is in the correct position. 'FRONT' should be on
the side where a person will stand while cooking
(this is relevant because of the direction in which
the bottom plate should be opened).
Fold the sides of the cardboard box open and
check the extraction hood one more time before
you continue the mounting process.
Feed the power cord through the ceiling plate
and connect it to the power grid.
