5. Place the frame on the ventilation pipe
and fix the right part of the frame on
the unit top cover with 5 screws

6. Connect the left part of the frame with
the mounted right frame on the unit

7. Place the UltraVent on the frame.
Check that the cables are positioned
correctly [ Figure
fed through the designated guide on
the rear of the frame [
8. Screw the UltraVent to the frame with
2 screws [ Figure
9. Mount the cover plate [

10. Unlock the front end [
11. Hook the front end onto the UltraVent
[ Figure 14]. Lock the stem.

There is a danger to life if the wires are
incorrectly connected.
Connect the wires correctly according
to their colour coding.

5.2.1 Regulations for electrical connection

General information
The UltraVent condensation hood be
n
connected to an electrical supply in line
with standards in your country.
Before you disconnect the unit from
n
the mains or reconnect it to the mains,
make sure that the unit is switched off
to prevent the UltraVent condensation
hood from running.
The condensation hood must be fused
n
with a maximum of 16 A by the cus-
tomer.
Notes on the connection cable
The condensation hood must be
n
equipped with a power cable approx-
imately 2 metres long.
A separate power plug must be in-
n
stalled.
If the connection cable needs to be re-
n
placed, use a H05 RN-F 3x1.5 mm
quality cable.
The mains power cable may only be
n
replaced by qualified personnel au-
thorised by the manufacturer.

5.2.2 Establish an electrical connection

hood is to be installed is switched off
and disconnected from the mains.
