Warning! Use on slopes is only permitted when the
seat and backrest are in an upright position.
Attention: risk of falling! Always drive up to the
kerb head on. Driving up at an angle can lead to
accidents.
Warning! Always put the seat and backrest into an
upright position when you are driving the wheelchair.
4.13. Pushing mode
If you want to push the wheelchair in specific situations, you must
release the brakes. In freewheel mode, the wheelchair is easy to push.
Warning! The electromagnetic brake is then disabled.
Wheelchairs with decentralised release on the motor:
•
The drives can be disconnected and then engaged again using the
yellow lever (Fig. 48).
•
To push the electric wheelchair, pull the lever upwards. The switch
will click into place automatically.
•
Repeat the procedure with the drive on the other side. You can now
use the wheelchair in push mode. To engage the drives pull the

lever down, it will then click into place automatically. Repeat the
procedure on the other side here too.
•
If the drives are disconnected, then the battery status display
flashes if the wheelchair is switched on.

Wheelchairs with central lever for unlocking:
On wheelchairs with a central lever for unlocking, the operation for
the control for engaging and disengaging the drives is on the left side
of the wheelchair (Fig. 49).
Push mode:
For pushing operation, pull the red lever outwards until you feel it
clicks into place (Fig. 50).
The red lever is then in the correct position for pushing operation if it
remains in the outward position (Fig. 51).
- If the drives are unlocked, the battery status indicator flashes when
switched on.
Drive mode:
To enter travel mode, pull the black actuating knob outwards until the
red lever is released from its external lock. The red lever then moves
back to its original position for driving (Fig. 52).
On the side of the operating levers there is a notice for the
operation of the unlocking and locking of the motors (Fig. 53).
Please note that push mode by disconnecting the
electromagnetic brakes must only be used on
flat ground. The electromechanical brake is then
disabled. Non-observance means danger to life.
Warning! Always use both drives at the same
position (risk of accident).
Attention: danger to life! The electromagnetic brakes
must only be disconnected when on flat ground.
