Mounting instructions for the sensor / transmitter connection using
flexible conduit
Note!
Ensure that you use a
suitable junction box to
branch a conduit into
two. Surplus cable
length can be rolled up
into the junction box.
The size of the junction
box used corresponds to
the cable bending
radius (approx. 75 mm).
The fittings on the junc-
tion box must be
equipped with external
threads and secured in
90/93
the box with a union
nut.

Mounting steps:
•
Mount the conduits (a) on the sensor side of the
junction box first!
•
Screw the adapter (b) onto the conduit (a) and then pull through the
sensor cable.
•
Insert both sensor connectors (c) into the sensor housing in accord-
ance with the Operating Instructions.
•
Press the adapter on the sensor side (b) onto the sensor connector (c)
until you hear it click.
Note!
Insert the cables carefully into the conduits using an insertion cord.
To make it easier to pull the cables through the cable protective pipe,
it is recommended to wrap insulating tape around the mechanical
stops.
•
Guide the sensor cables through the individual parts of the cable
gland and through the transmitter entrance (d) into the connection
compartment.
•
Connect the sensor connectors (on the transmitter side) in accord-
ance with the Operating Instructions.
•
Insert the rubber gasket (e) between the screw fitting cap (f) and
threaded element (g, Prosonic Flow 90/93) or the cable fixing sleves
(h, Prosonic Flow 91). The rubber gasket is slit at the side along both
holes and can be spread to insert the cables.
•
Assemble the cable entry as per the graphic.
•
Screw the conduit into the cable entry (on transmitter side) and then
mount on the junction box side.
