Important
For call and door release operation,
and illumination of the call button/
info module, a separate transformer
with 12 V AC and sufficient output
is required.
Mounting
1 Disconnect from the mains before
opening the housing
2 Unscrew the two upper and lower
screws and take off the upper part
of the housing
3 The two provided heavy gauge
cable glands must be inserted into
the provided holes
4 Fix the appliance in such a way
that the cable enters from below
5 Thread the mains and light current
cable through the heavy gauge
cable glands from below and con-
nect as follows.
Grey terminals: N and L 1 (mains)
Yellow/green terminal. PE
(protective earth)
Blue terminal: "-" potential
Orange terminal: "+" potential
(12 V DC)
Putting into operation
The NG 404-0/NG 404-1 unit is de-
signed for use in Siedle communica-
tion systems for wall mounting.
When creating the electronic con-
nection, comply with the VDE 0805/
EN 60950 requirements.
The maximum ambient temperature
(TU) is +40°C.
The drawn output power must not
exceed 48 W.
In order to disconnect the appliance
from the supply circuit, a double-
pole disconnecting device with a
contact gap of ≥ 3 mm must be
provided in the appliance installation
(mains plug also possible).
Before removing the housing
cover, disconnect from the
mains.
Ensure that the terminal in the
appliance installation is fused with a
maximum of 16 A.

Un interupteur bi-polaire avec une

mum 3 mm doit être présent dans
l'installation du bâtiment.
