it is recommended to use a filter to eliminate contaminants (on the domestic cold water connection).
In the KOMBI model, the circulating water tank [ZWO] must be vented regularly (at least once every 3
months). Too frequent exchange of the heating medium causes the tank and the coils to wear faster.
In the STANDARD and KOMBI models and in the circulating tank [ZWO] of the KOMBI model, regularly,
at least once a year, check the level of the corrosion inhibitor in the heating medium in the coil(s), and
replenish it as appropriate. The liquid must meet the following requirements:
- pH at 25 deg. Celsius in the range of 8.7 to 9.2 for a steel/copper system and > 9.2 for a steel system;
- oxygen content O2 <=0.1 mg/l.
MODELS WITH A MAGNESIUM ANODE.
Factory-installed or newly installed magnesium anode(s) must be replaced, at the user's cost, at le-
ast once every 12 months. The replacement must be performed by a specialized company authorized
by Kensol Sp. z o.o. The sales document for the magnesium anode and the replacement certificate,
dated and stamped, must be kept for verification by the service company in the event of a breakdown
of the tank. The newly installed magnesium anode must be the same as the factory-installed anode
(the anode type is given in section 2 Technical Data). Regularly replaced and properly working magne-
sium anode is a condition for validity of the warranty and for proper operation of the boiler during and
after the warranty period. The need to replace the magnesium anode is due to its gradual wear (which
largely depends on the chemical composition of the water and the working temperature of the boiler);
therefore, the anode must be replaced regularly in order to ensure proper corrosion protection of the
tank. Any damage to the tank due to the wear of the anode (and the resulting improper protection of
the tank) is considered to be the user's fault and, consequently, is not covered by the warranty. The
appropriate magnesium anode can be purchased at the sales point or from the manufacturer. The
sales document for the magnesium anode and the replacement certificate, dated and stamped, must

MODELS WITH A TITANIUM ANODE.
The anode power supply (potentiostat) must be connected to a power socket at all times in order to
maintain corrosion protection of the tank. One must pay attention to the polarity of the wires and
their connection to the anode. Proper operation of the anode must be checked regularly, at least once
a month, in accordance with the anode's operating instruction. Any damages due to an anode that is
defective or has been disconnected from the power supply source (and the resulting improper corro-
sion protection of the tank) are considered to be the user's fault and, consequently, are not covered
by the warranty.
7.4. ACCEPTANCE INSPECTIONS AND OPERATION.
The tank may be subject to technical inspections by third-party entities (including state authorities);
therefore, one must take into account the detailed regulations of the country where the tank is to be
installed.
