11.3 Connect flight battery and pair remote control/receiver

Important! When the flight battery is connected, the automatic controls may start the model unex-
pectedly. Keep body parts and objects away from the propellers!
11.3.1 Connect battery
1. If switched on, switch the remote control off with the on/off switch (R2).
2. Turn over the model.
3. Open the battery compartment cover.
4. Connect the battery to the power supply cable
5. Carefully slide the battery into the battery compartment
6. Close the battery compartment cover. Make sure it locks.
7. Place the model on the landing gear and let it rest for at least 3 seconds to let the electronics complete the self-test.
11.3.2 Pair remote control and receiver
After connecting the battery and completing the self-test, pair the remote control and receiver.
1. Move the left-hand joystick (R14) for the motor function to the lowest position.
2. Make sure that the right-hand joystick (R4) is in the central position.
3. Switch on the remote control via the on/off switch (R2). Pairing starts after you hear a beep sound. Pay attention
to the indicator light on the remote control.
- Blinking: pairing in progress
- Solid: successfully paired
4. (If pairing failed) Switch the remote control off and repeat the pairing procedure.
11.4 Check the control functions

There are a total of 4 functions to check: Motor function, neutral position, rudder and elevator.
The flight battery must be connected and the remote control must be switched on and ready for use.
11.4.1 Prerequisites
Caution! Remove paper, film or other objects from the suction area of the propeller.
1. Secure the model in place to prevent it from taking off.
2. Check that the propellers can rotate freely.
