Installation
Drywall construction
when installing into a drywall, the flush-mounted enclosure
must fit tightly.

Installation with mounting bracket
f If required, bend and snap off a length of the mounting
bracket to shorten it.

Material losses
!
do not screw the mounting bracket to the discharge
connector.
f secure the mounting bracket to the flush-mounted enclo-
sure with screws.
f secure the mounting bracket to the separating ceiling or
the duct wall.
Installation without mounting bracket
f Provide horizontal support.
f Install the enclosure so that the interior plaster is flush
with the plaster edge afterwards.
f screw tight the flush-mounted enclosure through the
holes at the edge.
The enclosure has two holes near the air outlet for fastening
the enclosure to the ceiling with a perforated strip.
Extract air duct
f slide the ventilation pipe leading to the main duct onto
the air outlet of the appliance.
f wrap aluminium sealing tape around the join.
Fan unit
To prevent damage or contamination during transport or at the
construction site, do not remove the fan unit from the packag-
ing until immediately before installation.
f remove the plaster protection cover of the flush-mounted
enclosure.
f Check that the flush-mounted enclosure is installed
correctly.
f remove any dirt, e.g. residues of plaster or mortar.
f Isolate the power cable from the power supply.
f Push the power cable through the "entry electrical cables"
opening and into the enclosure. The power cable must
protrude 50 cm into the enclosure.
Minimum cable cross-section: 3 x 1.5 NYM-J
1 Fixing screw
f Hook the fan unit into the guide groove at the join be-
tween the flush-mounted enclosure and the air outlet.
