2. Safety
2.1
Intended use
The appliance is a decentralised extractor. The appliance is
used to ventilate living spaces, sanitary facilities and domestic
kitchens to dIN 18017-3.
The appliance is intended for domestic use. It can be used safe-
ly by untrained persons. The appliance can also be used in
non-domestic environments, e.g. in small businesses, as long
as it is used in the same way.
Any other use beyond that described shall be deemed inappro-
priate. observation of these instructions and of the instructions
for any accessories used is also part of the correct use of this
appliance.
If the fan is to be operated in very harsh conditions, the manu-
facturer's approval is required. such conditions include excep-
tional climatic conditions or excessive contamination.
2.2 General safety instructions

The appliance may be used by children over 8 years
of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and
expertise, provided that they are supervised or they
have been instructed on how to use the appliance
safely and have understood the potential risks. Chil-
dren must never play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children without supervision.

3. Appliance description
3.1
Function description
subject to demand, the humid, odorous air is transported out
of the bathroom and wC to the outdoors or into central extract
air shafts. This creates slight negative pressure in the apart-
ment. due to this negative pressure, fresh, filtered air flows in
of its own accord through air apertures in the external walls of
living spaces and bedrooms. overflow apertures in the doors
create an air connection between the supply and extract air
areas.
depending on the airtightness of the building, decentralised
external wall apertures in supply air areas are not essential. In
some cases, natural infiltration due to the permeability of the
building envelope provides sufficient fresh air.
Appliance with humidity sensor
when the humidity sensor detects a demand or when you
change to full load with a switch, the appliance changes to
the maximum possible air flow rate.
