Replacing Fuses

1. Turn the Power Switch OFF on the rear of the Visual-ICE MRI
Cryoablation Console. Loosen the thumb screw on the cord retention clip.
2. Remove the power cord from the retention clip. Remove the two
screws that secure the retention clip and remove the retention clip from
the power inlet.
3. Insert a small screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the fuse
holder to begin to snap the fuse holder out of the power inlet.
4. While holding your hand under the fuse holder, carefully slide the
fuse holder out of the power inlet.
NOTE: There are four fuses in the fuse holder.
5. Catch the fuse holder and fuses as the fuse holder is removed from
the power inlet. The two fuses that remain in the fuse holder are the
fuses that are part of the system circuit.
6. Replace the fuses in the fuse holder with the two loose fuses.
NOTE: Use only Boston Scientific specified fuses in the Visual-ICE MRI
Cryoablation Console.
7. Snap the fuse holder back into the power inlet. Replace the retention
clip, plug in the power cord, and tighten the thumb screw on the
retention clip.
