BaByliss peut également être uti-
lisé pour mettre l'accent sur certai-
nes mèches (frange, rebicage...)
et décoller les racines.
• Pour décoller les racines, prenez
une mèche et maintenez-la à la
verticale du cuir chevelu. Posi-
tionnez alors l'appareil le plus
près possible des racines, serrez
la mèche entre les plaques et
imprimez à l'appareil un mou-
vement rotatif vers l'avant pour
donner un maximum de volume
à la racine. Maintenez quelques
secondes, puis lissez doucement
de la racine vers la pointe.
• Pour mettre en forme les che-
veux en rentrant les pointes vers
l'intérieur, utilisez comme décrit
ci-dessus mais tournez l'appareil
vers l'intérieur (comme l'action
d'une brosse lors d'un brushing).
Maintenez en place pendant
quelques secondes puis relâ-
chez.
• Pour faire rebiquer les pointes
vers l'extérieur, eff ectuez le
même mouvement mais dans
l'autre sens.
• Après utilisation, appuyez sur le
bouton ON/OFF et débranchez
l'appareil.
• Laissez refroidir l'appareil encore
chaud sur le tapis thermo-
résistant prévu à cet eff et.
Arrêt automatique
Si le lisseur reste allumé pendant
plus d'1h15, il s'éteint automati-
quement.

• Débrancher l'appareil et le laisser
refroidir complètement.
• Nettoyer les plaques à l'aide d'un
chiff on humide et doux, sans dé-
tergent, afi n de préserver la qua-
lité optimale des plaques. Ne pas
gratter les plaques.
• Ranger le lisseur les plaques ser-
rées pour les protéger.

USE
Before using, read the safety pre-
cautions at the end of the booklet.
To straighten your hair
• Prepare your hair for straigh-
tening: wash your hair and
untangle using a big tooth comb
and then dry using a hairdryer.
• Divide your hair into sections. Pin
the upper sections with clips to
work with the hair underneath.
• Plug the BaByliss pro 230 Wet
N' Dry straightener in and press
the ON/OFF button. Wait a few
minutes until the straightener has
heated up.
The fi rst time you use the unit, you
might notice a little smoke and a
particular odour: this is common
and will disappear the next time you
use the unit.
• A green LED will light up, an
indicator light for the lowest
temperature.
• Select the desired temperature
using the temperature selectors.
A lower temperature is generally
recommended for fi ne, bleached
and/or damaged hair, and a
higher temperature for curly,
thick and/or diffi cult to style hair.
Since every hair type is unique,
we recommend you use position
1 (green LED) the fi rst time you
use it. Progressively increase the
temperature, if necessary, during
the following uses. Use the table
below as a guide:
The LED of the selected temperature
blinks until the temperature is
reached, then it remains lighted
during the whole using time.
