23.3.3 Sharpening the cutting plate

23.3.4 Disassemble the shearing head

sharp cutting plates!
 Handle the shearing
WARNING
head of the device
with
caution.
 Loosen knurled screw 14 with leaf spring 15.
 Push upper cutting plate 17 under pressure
piece 13 out of the shearing head.
This completes the mounting of the shearing head.
23.3.5 Lubricating the shearing head
 Disassemble the shearing head, see section Disas-
semble the shearing head.
 Clean upper cutting plate 17 and lower cutting
plate 18 with a soft wipe or brush. Make certain
the gaps in serration 16 are cleaned properly.
 Slightly lubricate upper cutting plate 17 and lower
cutting plate 18 with special lubricant for shearing
heads GT604.
