Adjustments

Only trained specialists should adjust brakes. However, should you have
sufficient experience; you may also carry out this adjustment yourself.
Caution!
Incorrectly adjusted brakes may result in life-endangering
consequences.

Locking brake

The distance between the brake
block and the surface of the tyre must
be 12mm at the narrowest point
when the brake
opened to its maximum.
To adjust the distance, loosen the
two screws.
Move the brake into the correct
position.
Afterwards tighten the screws again
and check the brake function.
If the brake is correct adjusted, the
wheelchair should be immovable.

Lower leg length

The adjustment is right, when your thighs are horizontal with both feet resting
on the footplates.
Loosen the screw and move the foot
plate into a position that is
comfortable for you. Please note the
bores inside the tube preset the
different steps.
Tighten the screw firmly afterwards.
